Summer STEM Course Application (MAT 103, 104, 201, 202 & PHY 110)
Princeton will be offering a small suite of STEM courses in summer 2021. These courses will be taught virtually and are designed to offer students with demonstrated academic need an opportunity to take or re-take foundational courses necessary for their degree and/or concentration advancement.
There is no tuition charge or course fee for these courses. Students receiving financial aid from the University will receive a living expense allowance. Details of this budget will be released with program acceptance letters.
To apply, please complete this form and submit prior to April 7th, 2021. You will be notified if you have secured a spot in the course by April 15th.
To be eligible, students must have demonstrated academic need for the relevant course(s). Normally, demonstrated academic need will be limited to the following situations:
• A curricular impediment towards concentration eligibility or BSE degree candidacy (for instance, an AB student who needs the summer course to declare a concentration before junior fall or a BSE student who needs the summer course to maintain normal progress in term-time departmental requirements)
• An impediment towards a change in degree candidacy (usually, an AB first-year student who wishes to switch to the BSE program).
• A student who has entered into a structured 3-term sequence (like PHY 103-109-110 or MAT 100-103-104) that concludes with the course in question in the summer term.
